Minimum Server Requirements
For optimum performance, it is recommended that the Facsys Fax Server be operated on a dedicated physical or virtual server. Facsys should not be installed on the same server as a Microsoft Exchange Server as rendering attachments requires additional server CPU resources and memory, which will impact server performance.
  • CPU: Pentium 4 (1.5GHz or better)
  • Memory: 512MB to 2GB RAM (when combined with SQL Server)
  • Disk Space: 20GB (additional space required for storing fax messages)
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server
  • Database: Microsoft SQL
  • NOTE: Facsys can be deployed on a Microsoft Windows 2008 & 2012 Server, but is subject to the availability of Microsoft Windows 2008 & 2012 Server drivers for fax devices/FoIP software deployed along with Facsys. Currently Dialogic Brooktrout TR1034 and SR140 and Facsys FoIP have such drivers available.
